Aaron Gossage Sparks Discussion With DGPT Course Design Critiques
Idio sponsored player, Aaron Gossage, is back at it this week, continuing his weekly practice round series with Ezra Aderhold and debuting his Idio Syncrasy EVO disc golf shoes in the process. The duo break down the Sprinkle Valley course that the Disc Golf Pro Tour will be taking on this weekend at The Open at Austin.
Aaron is no stranger to critiquing DGPT course design, often giving his perspective during these weekly practice rounds. This week, however, Aaron's opinions on the shorter, more straight-forward Sprinkle Valley disc golf course have sparked some controversial discussions online, with over 1000 comments on the front nine video alone! Aaron's biggest critiques deal with the course's lack of distance challenge and potential score separation. Some disc golf fans online argue that these features lead to a more entertaining tournament by allowing more competitors to be in the hunt on the final day.
