Great Shoe! Good grip for teeing off and traversing the woods. It's also a great show if you suffer from Planter Fasciitis. I highly recommend it over the Adidas Terrex, which completely wrecked my feet.
Right out of the box absolutely comfortable without breaking in played in a tournament that day awesome grip on the tee pads and on wet fairways I highly recommend this shoe
Love, love, love the brawlers! Great comfort after a long day of walking and throwing! Only issue I have is shipping. Took over a week to receive them after it says next day😒
Want to shout out Idio customer support here before my review. They let me return my pair because they didnt fit and let me change colorways as well (switched to light blue). I upgraded from an early pair of Syncrasy's that I had loved and absolutely wore to the bone. The brawlers definitely have a differentl feel to them from the Syncrasy - They take a play or two to break in, but once that happens they are incredible comfortable. They are tougher and hold up to elements much better. The added ankle stability is nice but at the cost of some flexibilty (in the shoe and you haha). I think these would be a great winter/all weather disc golf shoe - they can definitely trek through mud and water very easily but seeing as winter has passed I'll have to test them out in the snow when that happens later, but if they can survive winter play in the north east they can survive anywhere. Very solid set of shoes.
I did not need to break these in. I've worn them for a 2.5 hour round of disc golf and an hour of field work. Stomped through puddles, trapped through the wooded course and managed some moderate elevation changes all without any discomfort in the first day of wear. They feel light and I never felt my feet get overly warm. Very satisfied and will likely make these my most commonly worn disc golf shoes.
